Christina McKenna

PRESIDENT

Founder and President of Bluestone Executive Communications, Christina McKenna is the voice whispering in the ear of some of America’s most powerful corporate and community leaders.

Christina spent 12 years as a TV reporter and anchor in Boston, Seattle and Detroit, covering politicians, business leaders and celebrities as they confronted challenges in the glare of the public eye. Later, she moved to the other side of the microphone, as spokesperson for Fortune 500 Boston Edison, where she helped the company navigate a series of high-profile crises.

Christina earned a Bachelor’s at the University of Chicago and a Master’s from Columbia University’s Graduate School of Journalism. She spent two years as full time faculty at Boston's Suffolk University, teaching writing.

A seasoned financial executive with deep experience in investor relations and corporate communications, Maria Duey provides guidance to senior executives responsible for communicating their company’s vision and results to investors, analysts, the Board, employees and the media. In previous roles, Maria served as VP of investor relations for Fortune 500 companies Masco and Horizon Global, which she helped steer through an IPO. Maria holds an MBA in finance and marketing from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and a bachelor’s in Business from Michigan State University.

Certified Etiquette Instructor, Danielle Kovachevich specializes in helping professionals navigate the modern business world with the social graces that bring dignity to daily work. Her expertise includes domestic and international business protocol, digital decorum and fine dining etiquette.

She earned a bachelor’s degree in Secondary Education at Michigan State University and studied in the South of France while earning a Master’s Degree in Curriculum Development. She is certified in Etiquette Instruction by the Etiquette Institute of St. Louis.

An authority on all things style, Jon serves as a consultant for Post-Newsweek Television stations across the country and is a regularly featured on-air, style expert. His lengthy list of VIP clients includes Bill Clinton, Cindy Crawford and Maria Shriver, along with dozens of C-suite executives at many of the country’s largest corporations, including General Motors, Aptiv, La-Z-Boy, Lear, Masco, Visteon and ZF. Jon has covered couture from the red carpet at The Golden Globe Awards and reported live from London during royal celebrations. Roger Weber

EXECUTIVE MEDIA TRAINER AND COACH

Media trainer, presentation coach and storytelling expert Roger Weber draws on more than three decades as a television anchor and reporter to make every workshop compelling, relevant and highly entertaining.  Roger’s television work won him numerous awards, including multiple Emmys and a coveted Edward R. Murrow Award. Now he brings his talent for lasering in on key issues and communicating them with impact with Bluestone clients, including Magna Powertrain, the Association for Advancing Automation and many others.

Roger holds a bachelor’s degree from Bowling Green State University. He also has taught broadcast writing for more than 10 years at Oakland University outside of Detroit.

Beth Ridley

DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS

Beth Ridley designs and helps execute all of Bluestone’s training and coaching programs, ensuring that participants get the maximum benefit from every moment. In addition, Beth oversees Bluestone’s client relations and manages Bluestone’s team of trainers and coaches, as well as the technical staff who execute large-group events. Prior to joining Bluestone, Beth organized and supported events in the conference, trade show and insurance industries and coordinated trade labor for one of the world’s largest and most complex trade show events, the massive North American International Auto Show.

Beth studied business and writing at Central Michigan University.
